Anecdotally, younger firms are definitely starting to breach that change in work culture. However, I'm not sure how Architecture in practice works today has the information ecosystem to support more autonomy from young designers. Knowledge is still more tacit than explicit and transfer is remains closer to an apprenticeship model.

What settings/domains are gen z thriving?
Tech is probably the most obvious domain. Supportive/strong mentorship, ownership and autonomy over one's work, with a blameless culture.
Yes, can’t say the same for design
